Creamy Cacao Smoothie (No Banana)

This sweet and creamy cacao smoothie is easy to make with almond butter, cacao, spinach, and milk for a creamy, chocolatey to start the day. Ready in just five minutes, it's creamy without banana using a "secret" veggie ingredient!

1/2 cup frozen riced cauliflower 1 cup baby spinach 1 tablespoon chia seeds 1 tablespoon unsweetened almond butter 1 tablespoon unsweetened cacao powder 2 servings chocolate protein powder 1 cup milk Ice to blend
Frozen cauliflower rice thickens the smoothie without banana. Don't worry, you won't be able to taste it.
This recipe makes about 2 cups, or two servings if using a serving size of 1 cup.
For a thinner consistency, add more milk.
If using fresh riced cauliflower, be sure to add additional ice.
For nut-free be sure to use sunflower seed butter and a nut-free milk option.
For vegan, be sure to use a plant-based protein powder.
For paleo, be sure to use a paleo protein powder.
