This creamy, healthy strawberry banana peanut butter smoothie is easy to make with strawberries, bananas, and peanut butter for a bright way to start the day. Includes ingredient swaps to easily make this nut-free and paleo friendly!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seed
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a high speed blender. Blend on high until very smooth.

Notes

This recipe makes about 2 cups, or two servings if using a serving size of 1 cup.
To make a smoothie bowl instead, make the smoothie thicker by using ¾ cup milk.
For a thinner consistency, add more milk.
If using fresh berries and fresh banana, add extra ice for better texture.
