This easy, low effort recipe for slow cooker taco soup is made with cooked and crumbled ground beef, canned black beans and pinto beans, plus frozen corn, so this recipe requires minimal prep time.  It’s a terrific weeknight meal that’s super hearty, filling and flavorful!

STEP 1:

Saute the onion and ground beef until cooked through.

Add the cooked onion and ground beef, black beans, pinto beans, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, green chili, corn, and stock to a slow cooker.

STEP 3:

Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 7-8 hours.

STEP 4:

Add the lime juice, stirring to combine. Taste and add additional salt or lime juice if desired. Serve with toppings of your choice.
