This chipotle honey vinaigrette recipe is so simple and will elevate anything - from a simple green salad, to roasted sweet potatoes, to a loaded burrito bowl. The best part about this easy, healthy salad dressing is that it comes together in just a mason jar!

STEP 1:

With the bottom of a glass jar or side of a knife, lightly crush the garlic clove.

To a 8-oz mason jar, add the crushed garlic clove, salt, chipotle, and honey, using a fork or small whisk to combine.

Add the lime juice, add the lid, and shake vigorously until the salt has dissolved and all the ingredients are combined.

STEP 4:

Add the avocado oil and pepper, add the lid, and shake vigorously until the vinaigrette has emulsified.  Taste and add additional salt or pepper if desired. Store, refrigerated, for up to 5 days.

For a stronger garlic flavor, grate or finely mince the garlic and add in step 2. For a vegan option, use maple syrup. For a Whole30 option, omit honey or maple syrup. In place of the lime juice, you can use red wine vinegar.
