Giving all the apple pie vibes, this easy apple banana smoothie is full of all the good-for-you ingredients and is ready in just 5 minutes!

STEP 1:

Apple banana smoothie without yogurt: Just skip the yogurt altogether, the smoothie will still be wonderfully creamy and delicious. Apple banana smoothie with milk: Use any kind of milk for this smoothie that you like and have on hand.

fun variations to try:

To make an apple smoothie bowl make the smoothie thicker by using only ¼ cup milk. Reducing the amount of liquid you add to the blender will help you get a thicker, spoonable texture that you need for a smoothie bowl.

I used a Honeycrisp apple for this recipe since it’s a good balance of sweet and a tiny bit tart.  You can also use a Gala or Fuji, or any apple you have on hand.  If you want a green apple smoothie, I recommend my Sour Apple Smoothie.
