You’re listening to The Feel Good Effect. Today I’m sharing what’s next for The Feel Good Effect. Let’s make it happen.
Robyn Conley Downs: (00:11)
Radically simple and ridiculously doable. The Feel Good Effect will help you redefine wellness on your terms. Hi, I’m your host Robyn Conley Downs. And I believe that wellness isn’t about achieving another set of impossible standards, but instead finding what works for you. Drawing from cutting-edge science on mindfulness, habit and behavior change, this podcast offers a collection of small mindset shifts that allow for more calm, clarity, and joy in everyday life and allows you to embrace the idea that gentle is the new perfect. I invite you to listen in, as we cut through the clutter and find the small shifts that create huge changes in your life. Less striving, more ease. It’s time to feel good.
Robyn Conley Downs: (00:59)
Well, hey Feel Good Fam. I am so glad you’re here for this quick update on what’s happening with The Feel Good Effect and the podcast going forward. So I started this podcast almost five years ago and we’ve had 2 million downloads and we’ve had a book and we’ve had a coaching certification all come from this idea of a show that would explore the question of what does it really mean to be healthy? We’ve had over a hundred guests talk about this concept. We’ve had many stories shared and many ideas explored, and while I’ve loved every single episode, every single discussion, and most of all, knowing that there is a community of you out there podcasting for right now is no longer aligning with my goals and the things that I’m working on in my own life and in, in the business.
Robyn Conley Downs: (01:53)
And so for that reason, we’re taking an indefinite pause. So maybe we’ll be back. I don’t have any plans immediately to come back, but I didn’t wanna leave you hanging either and just ghost after all of these years, especially for those of you who have listened to so many episodes. And I’m so grateful for that opportunity to have been in your ears. Been in the background, whether you’re driving to work or cooking dinner, taking a walk, it is such an honor. And I don’t take that for granted.
Robyn Conley Downs: (02:23)
Overall I’m not going anywhere. And in fact, the decision to pause the podcast is really more about some of the bigger goals that I have for the brand and the business. And if you’ve been around for a while, you know that I run my life and my business by the 80 20 rule, that it’s the 20% actions that yield 80% of the results. And to do some of the things that I wanna do next, it’s too hard to split my time between so many different things.
Robyn Conley Downs: (02:49)
And the other challenging part of having a podcast is that though, I know there’s a community of you out there, I never get to see you. I never get to connect with you. I never get to have a two-sided conversation. So for that reason, I’m working on creating a community where I can talk to you, and you can talk to me, and you can connect with each other that’s separate from the podcast format. So if that’s something that’s interesting to you, if you wanna keep the conversations going, if you wanna keep learning from me, but also connecting with each other and getting support, I would invite you to join our email list, www.realfoodwhole life.com/subscribe, and you can join the good list and that’s where any announcements or new information will be coming out about a community that I have planned for the fall.
Robyn Conley Downs: (03:32)
And of course the book is still available at anywhere books are sold. We still have our Feel Good Effect coaches that you can find at www.thefeelgoodeffect.com. If you’d like to get coached by a certified Feel Good Effect coach, and you can still find me on Instagram @realfoodwholelife, and also at www.realfoodwholelife.com where we have a brand new recipe coming out every single week, we have a brand new fall capsule meal plan that’s making it debut right now on the site. You can go there and get the whole shabang, all the recipes, the whole idea and concept of capsule wardrobe is explained there. And we’ll be exploring more ways to teach and to support on the website itself versus here on the podcast.
Robyn Conley Downs: (04:14)
So again, I’m not going anywhere. The brand, the business, is not going anywhere. It’s really simplifying things. As I always try to do in my life, finding that 20% that’s moving the needle, amplifying that and sometimes saying goodbye to things that aren’t as aligned. So definitely bookmark www.realfoodwhole life.com, sign up for our email list. That is where I will be sharing more about the community that’s coming. That I’m very excited about as well as articles and free resources and meal planning resources and all those things you come to love from us. And then you can find Feel Good Effect coaches on www.thefeelgoodeffect.com and all the resources around the book are there as well. So I look forward to connecting with you each week through email, we send those emails every single week, and I’m excited to put a little more time there as well. So I’d love to stay in touch with you there. And again, Instagram @realfoodwholelife. Thank you for following along all this time. And for allowing me to walk beside you and be in your earbuds, it is an honor and something I appreciate more than you’ll ever know. As always I wanna thank you so much for listening. Until next time, here’s to feeling good.
